About

Gianellis Reyes, known as Gia Jadel, was born in San Diego, California. After her parents divorced, she relocated to New Port Richey, Florida, with her mother and three siblings, where she completed her middle and high school. Once graduated, she returned to San Diego to work as an administrative assistant while furthering her studies in photography, broadcast journalism, and business management. In 2016, she moved to Los Angeles and launched her Hip Hop blog, "Da Buzz," which centered on music reviews, social media campaigns, and artist demographics. While researching for Da Buzz, Reyes learned about Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz's upcoming album, "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music," and felt a connection to its theme, leading her to assist with marketing strategies and social media presence for project. After developing a comprehensive website and social marketing plan, she was hired by the artist's management to oversee marketing and branding. In 2018, she moved to Atlanta to grow her social media company, collaborating with various brands, producers, artists, while also serving as a personal assistant to a club owner, helping with the club's social media and artist bookings. Following the death of her grandmother in 2019, Reyes experienced a transformative period marked by depression and feelings of being lost. Later that year, she committed her life to God, prompting significant changes. In January 2025, she published her first book, "The Repairer of the Breach: Setting the Captives Free," and launched Gia Jadel, a Christian-based brand offering clothing and accessories.
